The Sugar Hill Business Technology Group (SHBTG) is proud to announce the launch of the Fiddleback Outpost - A website dedicated to the sale of Fiddleback Forge knives and related accessories.
Owned and operated by Knife Maker's Guild member Andy Roy, Fiddleback Forge is well known in the knife making community, avid outdoorsman, and other groups where the quality, design, and effectiveness of well-made knives are truly appreciated. Fiddleback Forge knives have been traditionally made available to the consumer market via "Fiddleback Friday" events on Blade Forums (a web-based community of knife aficionados, knife markers, dealers, etc.) and established knife dealers with online and/or physical brick 'n' mortar stores.
Starting from discussions with Fiddleback Forge, Inc. earlier in the year, the SHBTG began construction on an eCommerce website that would bring Fiddleback Forge mid-tech production, as well as handmade, knives directly to consumers. The goal of the Fiddleback Outpost website was to not only target the existing customer base for Fiddleback Forge knives, but to broaden the reach to markets that would appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the Fiddleback knives.
Launched, April 29th, 2016, the Fiddleback Outpost saw over 600 website visitors and over 4,500 people reached organically (non-boosted posting) with the Facebook announcement. Obviously, this is just the start for the Fiddleback Outpost as we will look to add accessories, apparel, and other items that will resonate with the target markets.
